THE 1973 CHARGER

 

In 1973 the Charger underwent basic changes to the body design. Three body styles were offered: WL21 Coupe, WH23 Hardtop, and the WP29 SE. A Special Rallye version of the Coupe and Hardtop was also available. The 73 SE was the top of the line offering. It came with many option packages. The most distinctive feature is the slotted quarter windows.

 

Total unit production 1973: WL21 - 11,995, WH23 - 45,415, WP29 - 61,908. Sales totals for 1973: WL21 - Unknown (US), WH23 - 39,720 (US), WP29 - 54,220 (US).
